Anna Tiszolczi-Bertalan

Anna Tiszolczi-Bertalan has been with the Budapest Festival Orchestra since 2017 and is currently Head of Marketing and Audience Relations. In this role, she leads the data-driven digital transformation of the orchestra’s marketing activities, audience relations and development, as well as the creation of communication and marketing strategies. Her work has played an important role in rebuilding and expanding audiences after COVID: since taking on her current role, the BFO has achieved record results, including ticket revenue growth of 75% between 2022 and 2025, the highest in the organization’s history, alongside sustained season ticket growth and new all-time highs over thesame period.

The Budapest Festival Orchestra has become the youngest ensemble to join the world’s top ten symphony orchestras and was named Gramophone’s Orchestra of the Year in 2022. Alongside acclaimed recordings and international tours, the BFO has also gained worldwide recognition for its innovative concert formats and opera productions.

Anna graduated from Corvinus University of Budapest, majoring in International Relations, and also studied Political Science at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul. She spent the first ten years of her career at Procter & Gamble, one of the world’s largest multinational companies, where she developed her managerial and project management skills while leading various disciplines across a nine-country region. A violinist herself, Anna’s passion is playing chamber music with her quartet.
