Federico Hernández

Federico Hernández is Associate Director at HarrisonParrott. Before that, he was Artistic Coordinator of the Spanish National Orchestra and manager at Conciertos Augusto. He is BA in Spanish Philology and Musicology (both at Complutense University in Madrid). Besides his experience as music journalist (Scherzo, Opera Actual magazines), he has collaborated as member of the jury at several competitions including the Stavanger Conducting Competition in 2020 amongst others.

He teaches regularly music management at the Musicology Faculty (Universidad Complutense in Madrid), ICCMUMaster in Music Management (Madrid), Musicology Faculty (Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio in Madrid) and gives every year a Music management course for conductors with students from all around the world.

As a panelist, he has collaborated giving lectures with different institutions such as European Union Youth Orchestra, Fundación Azteca in Mexico DF, ClasClas Summit at Vilagarcia de Arousa, Reina Sofía School and the annual conference of the Association of Spanish Orchestras both in Madrid.
