Miquel Àngel Parera Salvà

Born in Mallorca studied violoncello with Marçal Cervera and proceeded his education at the Kunstuniversität Graz, Austria with Florian Kitt with a scholarship of the “Sa Nostra” Foundation. Short after finishing his musical studies changed to management and got education at the “Institut für Kulturkonzepte Wien” and the “Institut für Kulturmanagement” of the “Musik-und Darstellende Kunst Universität Wien” (MDW).

At the present Miquel Àngel Works as Orchestra Manager of the Swiss Orchestra, an orchestra playing in all major concert halls of Switzerland and touring internationally with world renewed artists with the Swiss Conductor Lena-Lisa Wüstendörfer and residency in the Andermatt Concert Hall.

Previous stages in his career were CEO of the “Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife” (ES), the Orchestra management of the “Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester” (AT), the Festival Direction of the “Lux Festspiele” (DE) and the Culture Department of the Spanish Embassy in Vienna.

He has hold conferences in “Fira B”, (Mallorca Music Summit), “Institut d’Estudis Balearics”, “Festival Tramuntana”, “Cursos Manuel de Falla – Festival Internacional de Granada”, “Festival Clas-Clas” and the opening conference at the “Jornades d’Estudis Locals de Llucmajor”
